September 2019

We have completed our third phase resin bound installation at Cartime in Rochdale. Appointed by Noble Projects after last weeks 240m2 installation we have now laid over 700m2 of Autumn Quartz resin bound surfacing with one final phase still to complete.

Appointed by Bemus Construction Ltd we have installed the first 5 phases of resin bound surfacing to the roads at St James Place, Didsbury Manchester. To date we have installed just over 1000m2 with one final phase to complete.

Instructed by Bartholomew Homes Ltd we have installed 230m2 of Chocolate Buff resin bound surfacing at a new construction development in Alderley Edge, Cheshire.

To demonstrate our commitment to improving Health and Safety, DGS are pleased to announce that we have successfully renewed our Contractors Health & Safety (CHAS) Accreditation for another year. Being accredited clearly demonstrates compliance around nationally agreed standards of health and safety, being “CHAS accredited” means that we have achieved nationally recognised benchmarks of acceptable health & safety standards as a Contractor.

July 2019

Appointed by ECM Associates Limited we have installed 470m2 of Forest Frost resin bound surfacing at a new development in Mottram St Andrew, Cheshire.

Appointed by Noble Construction Ltd we have completed the 2nd phase resin bound installation at Cartime in Rochdale. To date we have laid 490m2 of Autumn Quartz, another 2 phases are planned adding another 460m2 to the area.

We have completed the landscaping at Hulton House, Preston. Appointed by DBS Ltd this is the fourth new build care home we have landscaped for the client. On this project we carried the the courtyard preparation, sub base works and then laid 180m2 of artificial grass, erected 140 l/m of double clad featheredge fencing with gates and finally 415m2 of Chocolate Buff resin bound surfacing. On the external works we carried the ground works, introduced over 700 tons of top soil and laid over 3000m2 of turf along with constructing the bin store.

June 2019

Appointed by DBS we have completed the first phase works at Lightfoot Lane Preston. This development is a new build care home and the fourth which we have been involved with for DBS. The courtyard required initial ground works before installing a new sub base to which we then laid 180m2 of artificial grass, erected 140 l/m of double clad featheredge fencing with gates and finally 415m2 of Chocolate Buff resin bound surfacing.

Appointed by CBRE we have completed the final phase landscape maintenance works at Ringway Industrial Estate in Huddersfield. Over the course of the past 7 months we have carried out various phases of refurbishment works to the surrounding landscape to meet the clients requirements.

Appointed by the PJ Livesey Group we have installed over 450m2 of Chocolate Buff resin bound surfacing to the roads and parking bays at Alderley Park in Cheshire.

Appointed by DSBP Ltd we have installed 350m of Silver Blue resin bound surfacing at a new development in Alderley Edge Cheshire.

Appointed by Cranage Construction Ltd we have installed 350m of Silver Blue resin bound surfacing at a refurbished property in Prestbury, Cheshire.

On behalf of Red Project Management we have installed 390m of Danish Quartz resin bound surfacing.

Appointed by WE Parsons we have carried out 130m of resin bound surfacing in Chester.The surfacing works were to the footpaths in a city centre car park.

Appointed by IQ Projects we laid installed 170m2 of Dobbsweir Resin Bound Surfacing in Bramhall Cheshire. This new development of luxury apartments required a seamless porous surface for the entrance, paths and rear courtyard and the client is extremely pleased with the finish which compliments this high end construction.

 

November 2018

Appointed by CBRE we have completed our second phase landscaping works at Ringway Industrial Estate in Huddersfield. The works took just under 4 weeks to complete which included the removal of established and overgrown shrubbery that was obscuring the units and acting as litter traps which resulted in the estate looking unkempt. Preparation works included introducing over 200 tons of top soil before the laying of over 2000m2 of turf. The result meets the clients desire to have an open feel to the estate with the tenants business exposure increased which there are extremely pleased with.

Appointed by Bemus Construction on behalf of The PJ Livesey Group we have carried out our first phase resin bound installation at Green Walk Didsbury Manchester. Over 500m2 of Chocolate Buff was chosen for the entrance to the development, further phases are planned over the course of the development.

We have completed extensive landscaping works at Oldham Central Trading Estate. Appointed by Lambert Smith Hampton we completed the works within 4 weeks which included major tree surgery, supply and laying of over 800m2 of turf and line marking of the access roads and car parks.

We have installed 275m of a bespoke mix of Rhine Gold and Golden Quartz Resin Bound surfacing at St James Place, Didsbury, Manchester. Instructed by Bemus Construction this is the first phase of our works to be completed.

Following a competitive tendering process we have been appointed sole grounds maintenance contractor by Roger Hannah & Co acquiring 15 sites throughout the North West. Roger Hannah & Co are a Manchester city centre based firm of Chartered Surveyors and are one of the top 50 property consultants in the UK. We have been maintaining properties for Roger Hannah for the past 18 months and are extremely pleased to be appointed as sole contractor following a tender process to amalgamate all of their properties to one service provider, this appointment adds to our ever growing commercial maintenance portfolio.

Appointed by DBS Ltd we have just completed major landscaping works at Whittle Hall, Warrington. Whittle Hall is a new build care home and this is our third project for DBS. On this project we have installed 445m2 of Barley Beach resin bound aggregate, 160m2 of Artificial Grass to the courtyard. 140l/m of feather edge fencing, construction of the bin store, over 2000m2 of turf laid and various trees/shrubs planted throughout the development. The project took 7 weeks to complete and was on time for the clients opening of the care home.

Appointed by Capita on behalf of the Royal London we have completed extensive landscaping works at Metroplex Business Park in Salford Quays. We had to remove and dispose of over 7500m2 of existing established shrubbery along with over 70 trees. After all the preparation works we then laid 7000m2 of new turf and over 6000 new plants, the works took nine weeks to complete and finished on time for the client. Simultaneously we completed landscaping works for the same client at Tinsley Industrial Estate in Sheffield.

The project took 6 weeks to complete and was finished on time for the client DBS Ltd.

In what turned out to be the coldest Winter in many a year our Winter gritting and Snow clearance service was placed under enormous pressure to ensure our sites where the facility was required were kept open for business. It was with great pride that we achieved this, not only dealing with severe temperatures but continued heavy snowfalls really made the effort of our teams remarkable and all access to sites were kept clear of ice and snow. Through our direct suppliers we kept a continued supply of winter grit/salt throughout this period which at a time of such a national shortage underlines DGS’s commitment to their clients.

  • In partnership with Q Park UK we have successfully completed extensive maintenance work to car parks at Manchester Airport Terminal 2.

  • The project was completed ahead of schedule despite a tight deadline, working in adverse weather and constrained by short winter daylight hours.

  • This achievement enabled Q Park to open their car parks on time, and was made even greater as we simultaneously completed contract work on the Airports Freight Terminal
